Rose Thompson studied at the Cleveland Art Institute. Over her career, her work has spanned a variety of media and techniques. Thompson has won numerous awards from the prestigious Broward Art Guild in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her paintings are currently featured at Things I Like by Catherine, the leading contemporary art gallery of the Bayshore Arts District in Naples, Florida.
“South Florida artist, Rose Thompson, takes her inspiration from nature. A lifelong sailor, Rose’s paintings capture the energy and movement of ocean waves, windblown clouds, and birds in flight. Her work employs a distinctive sense of light and color that she developed as a professional photographer.
