BLUE NOTES

This was created for the Small Works Art exhibit and won the ”People’s Choice” ribbon! After hurricane Irma went through Key West, there were stacks and stacks of debris lining the road. I spotted an old wooden piano in pieces! Poor thing! But the keyboard was totally intact! I could help taking as many keys as I could. Since I had recently taken up Sight Reading on the piano, and everyone knows how frustrating that can be, I decided to name it, Blue Notes!!

I roller skated to…🎶 !!! As a kid growing up in the city, I’d love to roller skate on the sidewalk and as I got older, I was at the roller rink. I’ve always felt so fortunate to take my passion for photography and turn it to a career that allowed me to enjoy traveling around the world. Another one of my passions is sailing and I’ve been fortunate to sail the seven seas, at the same time sketching and painting all the beautiful landscapes and flowers that passed my way!
